Built-in D/A Converter — the innovative 1-bit MASH
Our new 1-bit MASH D/A Converter is built into the AU-X9UDG to accept the digital output direct from your CD player or from other digital equipment. The MASH uses the steady and precise frequency of a quartz oscillator as a conversion reference, to convert digital signals direct into analog signals with exceptionally high precision. And, unlike conventional D/A converters, it does not generate zero-crossing distortion and glitches. Therefore, very low-level signals are reproduced with extremely high linearity and low distortion.
Lithium tantalate oscillator device in D/A converter
The newly developed lithium tantalate oscillator device generates the clock frequency that locks in on digital data sent. A high precision instrument, if features the ability to
"absorb" jitter (shifts in time) contained in the transmitted digital data, reducing conversion error. It provides the D/A converter with a broad lock-in range, allowing it to automatically select the correct sampling frequency, be it 44.1kHz, 32kHz or 48kHz.
"Alpha" X-Balanced Circuit
By operating along a balanced line, our "Alpha" X-Balanced Circuit has the ability to cancel noise and distortion by itself. So digital noise from the digital signal processing circuit is cancelled before it mixes in with analog signals.
