NEW - YAMAHA TITAN SERIES (coming next...)
Through a variety of innovations and superior technologies, Yamaha wrote music history. About the development and manufacturing worldwide highly HiFi components will be even LSIs, the core modules of sophisticated electronics in-house production. The high-development potential in the field of traditional and electronic musical instruments (and here is one of the elite Yamaha) and in the acoustics, sound field reproduction, in electronics and computer techniques to create wertbewußter enabled hi-fi equipment from astonishing musicality. Tireless striving for perfection is just one goal: enhancing the listening pleasure.

MASH opened a new dimension in the field of digital hi-fi
The musical instruments or even the human voice tones produced contain a large number of fine, very little harmonics. There are, however, precisely these overtones, in which we have the sound of a violin, a trumpet, or the characteristics of the voice of a singer recognize. However, the typical atmosphere of a concert hall or the gradual fade away a piano score by the reflections from the ceiling and the walls will rise. The full music enjoyment is of the original reproduction of these respective signals kleinpege-dependent. The SL-PS70 heard of a new generation of CD players and is equipped with a technology which, via a sophisticated circuit transformation to a significant improvement in the detail playback.

X-Balanced Amp — a revolutionary new technology (~1982)
Much investigation has been done into the mechanism of noise and distortion generation. Now. thanks to the improvements that have resulted from these efforts, both steady-state and dynamic performance have never been better. So it seems there's nothing more we can do to further reduce noise and distortion, or improve frequency response and efficiency. If so, then, why do amplifiers, even so-called state-of-the-art amplifiers, sound different? As we've discovered, the reason is not within the amplifier, but outside it. This is what led our engineers to develop a new amplifier design, the X-Balanced Amp.
